Functions of the Department:

Implement the laws, regulations and systems related to personnel affairs.
Determine the Authority’s requirements of jobs and employees, in coordination with the various administrative units.
Prepare draft job descriptions, classifications and grading and follow up their implementation and development.
Prepare draft First Section Budget, in coordination with the concerned administrative units.
Implement performance evaluation procedures for employees.
Implement procedures regarding appointments, transfers, secondments and assignments.
Process employee leave entitlements according to the law.
Prepare studies related to the structure of the Authority and provide necessary proposals to develop its administrative organization.
Determine the training needs of the Authority’s staff in coordination with the various administrative units, follow up their implementation and evaluate the extent of the usefulness thereof.
Establish and modernise the databases of the Authority’s personnel affairs.
