GENERAL

Alkhor airfield is situated to the north of Doha city by approximately 50 km from the centre of Doha nearly 3km south of Alkhor city on the east side of the al-khor coastal road, managed and operated by civil aviation authority, the airfield intended for the use of the civil aviation aeronautical college for the pilot training beside other rating and training and local uses of general aviation and private business.
 

 Largest aircraft expected to use the aerodrome ? piper Seneca length 8.76 m wingspan 11.86 m fuselage width less than wm. Maximum gross weight 2170 kgs, Nil facilities immediately available for disabled aircraft removal.
The immegiration and customs facilities are arranged by prior request .
 

The airfield may be used for other aircraft type larger than those above given subject to the operator landing and facility requirements .
